With a lineage of outdoors and mountaineering adventure in his family Ratik was destined to stay away from the city. He saw his first Snow Leopard at the age of 16 which then led him to wander through the trans-Himalayan landscape in search for other mysteries. He started his professional career in Ladakh, at the Snow Leopard Lodge which gave him insights into community-led ecotourism and wildlife conservation. After leading some wildlife-adventure tours in arid mountains of Ladakh he’s now exploring the deciduous jungles of Central India. With his child-like curiosity, every excursion with Ratik will be a revelation, especially when you look heavenwards after sunset.
