Sunil Uikey always makes a warm first impression with his heartfelt smile. A member of the indigenous Gond tribe and a local from this landscape, Sunil has been part of the Singinawa family since 2013. He began in our lodge administration team, where his profound passion for nature and wildlife was quickly recognized. His confident driving skills and decisive tracking of tigers, combined with knowledge gained from books and extensive practical experience, make him a proud and valuable teammate. When the Singinawa Conservation Foundation receives snake rescue calls, Sunil is an active member of the team, bravely rescuing snakes from human settlements. Driving in Kanha since 2022, his safaris are a treat for guests, offering amazing animal sightings. His passion for birds and butterflies is a particular highlight during drives, making every outing with him truly special.
