RAKESH SOLANKI

Position: Senior Naturalist

Affectionately known as “Kaka,” Rakesh Solanki hails from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, and carries a rich legacy of association, having worked alongside Dr. Salim Ali, “The Birdman of India,” at the renowned Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur Ghana), a UNESCO World Heritage and Ramsar site. With a career spanning three decades, Kaka has served as a field intern for the Bombay Natural History Society and as a naturalist in various lodges and national parks across India since 2000. His extensive travels mean he can personalize any wildlife destination in India. While his favorite is avifauna, tracking tigers in our terrain is part of his daily routine. Rakesh cherishes hosting guests in Kanha, which has been his “home away from home” for a decade. From his vast experience, he’s chosen Kanha as the park where he wants to continue his work. He’s been a valued part of the Singinawa family since 2018.
