Akhilesh Bharos, hailing from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, brings four generations of wildlife experience to his role as a naturalist. A commerce graduate who couldn’t stay tied to urban life, he ventured into ecotourism in 1996, beginning his journey in Kanha. Akhilesh has extensively traveled and worked across the forests of Central India, gaining invaluable learning experiences that led him to volunteer in wildlife conservation, co-author several wildlife books, and publish his observations. He further hones his knowledge through nature photography, capturing wildlife, rural life, and anthropological subjects. Kanha holds a special place in his heart, deeply connected to countless stories and experiences from the Central India region. Guests have been enjoying his expertise and warm welcome at Singinawa Jungle Lodge since 2017.
