6. How far is Singinawa from Mukki Gate?

Singinawa is 13 km from Mukki gate and you will drive for 20 mins through a forest in an open jeep to get there. Getting to the gate itself is one of the experience.

20. Is room service available?

Yes we do. But given the forest settings and vast expanse, we generally do not recommend room service. However the 4 bedroom private bungalow ‘Perch’ has an in-house dining room butler service. Also the 2 bedroom bungalow ‘Wildernest’ has an in-house dining room.

21 . Does Singinawa arrange tiger safaris?

Yes. The lodge assists guests in arranging jeep safaris into Kanha National Park subject to permit availability.

22. Can I book safari permits through the Singinawa Jungle lodge?

Yes. Guests are encouraged to request safari bookings well in advance.

23. How many safaris should I book in Kanha?

Wildlife sightings vary. Booking three to five safaris generally improves the chances of observing different wildlife species.

24. Are tiger sightings guaranteed in Kanha?

No. Kanha is a wild ecosystem, and sightings depend on multiple factors.

25. What all animals can I see in Kanha?

Visitors may encounter Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Barasingha, Gaur, Wild Dogs (Dholes), Sloth Bears, Sambar, Chital, Barking Deer, Langurs, Wild Boar, and numerous bird species.

Yes, for the kids above 5 years of age should have name on the permit and it also depends on the child's comfort during long drives.

28. Can photographers hire exclusive vehicles?

Yes. Exclusive jeep safaris can generally be arranged, subject to permit availability.

29. Which safari zone is best in Kanha?

Each safari zone offers unique habitats and wildlife, and the best zone depends on seasonal conditions and the current movement of animals. As Mukki is the closest gate to Singinawa Jungle Lodge, guests usually enter through the Mukki Gate. It also has excellent connectivity between the park's safari tracks, which often increases the chances of rewarding wildlife sightings.

30. Which is the best time to visit Kanha?

October to June is generally considered the safari season. It is about the quality and the quantity. The quality of sightings starting from October till February is great. The temperature is favourable for the animal however between March to May the quantity of sightings are high forest gets dry, there will be very few water holes and far from one another so must of the animal movements will be closer to the water bodies.

Kanha National Park is internationally known for its successful conservation of the Hard-ground Barasingha, healthy tiger population, rich biodiversity, and inspiration for Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book.

No, being a lodge right next to the National Park, our property falls within a designated ecologically sensitive area so loud, amplified music and party is strictly prohibited.
